I studied color analysis in Tokyo, Japan and was enthralled by the vast color and magnitude of the shopping culture. The stores were lined with so much color that is not often seem in the small towns where I come from. I was impressed by the confidence of the Japanese people with how they were sharply and elegantly dressed in a stylish combination of neutrals and bright colors from their individual palates. I was inspired to bring that refinement and variety back to the US.

My educational journey started at the University of Montana, majoring in Sociology and Psychology. While earning a Masters in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University to deepen my understanding of human behavior, my love for captivating interiors led me to the Interior Design Institute. Furthering my skills, I spent a transformative summer studying interior design in Japan, drawing inspiration from Japanese minimalism.

In Japan, I explored personal style and the 12 color seasons, fostering an appreciation for the natural beauty of people and a desire to enhance it. This has allowed me to have a greater understanding of color and how it reflects us to the world. Personal Color Consultation is transformative and allows everyone to embrace, enhance, and express their unique style and personality in a cohesive and visually stunning way.

Raised in the stunning landscapes of Western Montana, the rugged beauty of the Rocky Mountains, combined with exposure to Japanese minimalism, shapes my design philosophy. I believe in seamlessly blending refined simplicity with natural surroundings, creating harmonious spaces that evoke tranquility and a profound connection to nature.
